"The sky is not blue in my heart" was a remark that I said in jest to my wife outside of my garage in June of 2023. But as soon as I said it, I rushed to my worktable to scribble in down on a scrap of paper, because I knew it would make a good title for some kind of zine. Was I correct? You tell me.

Tiny Toy Dream was first printed in June 2023. Its pages are full of little doodles of toys that I made or had hoped to make. My notebooks are filled with dumb drawings such as these and now you too can look upon them and wonder why they ever happened in the first place.

I've already posted a scan of the original printing of this zine, but this here is the reformatted version from 2023. The contents of the zine are nearly identical, but the zine's shape has changed from a tiny rectangle to a slightly bigger, but still small square, see? The zine itself is comprised of b&w pictures of the first series of Capsule Castaways that were created in 2019. I still like looking at these little cuties.

JOB JOBBER was completed back in the fall of 2021 for the first in-person zine fest that I attended after the start of the pandemic. It was initially printed in a bigger rectangular size with a hand stamped cardstock cover, but when it came time to reprint I decided to reformat it to this smaller square size which I find appealing. I think it was the right call for this particular zine :->
