"Good to see you again" wood diorama for Giant Robot Year of the Horse art exhibition

Image
I made this wooden diorama for Giant Robot's upcoming Year of the Horse art exhibition. I was struggling to come up with a concept but then I thought of making a Horsey Motorist and the rest quickly fell into place. I forgot to get a picture of it in my hand for scale though so you're just gonna have to trust me when I say that it is very, very tiny. Or you can head over to Giant Robot and see it in-person for yourself sometime between January 31st and February 15th.

"Year of the Pokey" index card for Lux Humans Gallery Chinese Zodiac 4x6 Art Show

Image
This is the paper cut out piece I made for Lux Humans Chinese Zodiac art show. It features my boy Gumby and his pal Pokey (who is a horse, get it?). The index card I used looks old because it is. I wanted this piece to feel like something you might find lost behind a drawer or in a box at the back of a closet. Was I successful? You tell me! And here's the flyer for the art show so I don't have to type out all the details.

"Anpanman Sits" wood sculpture for Giant Robot Chibi Show 2026

Image
Do you like Anpanman? Because I do! And if you don't, you really should! Take a peek at this little cutie pie I made for the Giant Robot Chibi Show group exhibition. I think he turned out very well, but I might be a little bit biased? But either way, the show opens Saturday, January 10th and runs for several weeks so get your butt over to Giant Robot to see this piece and all the other radical art in person, okay?
