The cart was set up by LA Zine Fest in 2023 and I have been helping organize and restock it since some time in 2024. But LA Zine Fest is no longer managing the cart so now it's down to me and Other Books to keep it going. To mark this change, I've constructed a sturdy new wood sign. Here's my piece for the 2nd drop of Animals exhibition at Giant Robot Store Gallery. I'm very happy with how this piece turned out since it looks pretty much exactly how it appeared in my head before I started whittling away. It feels really good to be able to pull something from nothing like that, you know? If you're in Los Angeles, go check out the new Giant Robot gallery space and see this piece in person! The 2nd drop goes live on Saturday, April 25th.
